Every member is checked against their regulator.
DOSE is only useful if you can trust who you're talking to. Here's exactly what happens between sign-up and your verified badge.

Confirm your contact details
We send a one-time code to your email. Nothing else unlocks until it's confirmed.
- 02
Tell us where you're registered
Choose your profession, country and regulator, then enter your registration number. It's encrypted as soon as it reaches us.
- 03
We check the official register
A trained reviewer checks your number and name against the regulator's public register. Where we can't confirm it, we ask for a document instead.
- 04
Signals that keep the network clean
Duplicate accounts, unusual sign-up patterns and personal-email domains raise a review — they never decide on their own.
- 05
A decision, usually within a day
You'll get an email either way. If something doesn't match, we tell you what we need — you can browse while you wait.
- 06
Checked again on a schedule
Registrations lapse, so we re-check every member on their profession's cadence. Your badge stays while we do.
